Wikis are similar to the blog by the fact that it is a web page and it allows for collaboration about a specific topic. A key difference between wikis and blogs is that the wiki cab be edited easily by anyone that has access to the wiki. This is a great tool that can be used for collaboration within groups. Information can be edited by using an editing tool to change, add, or delete information on the page. Hyperlinks are also used in order to link between pages.
A "rollback" function allows you to go to a previous version of the wiki. This feature could be used if a student post inaccurate or prohibited information. Wikis are a wonderful tool to use when students are working together on a project.
